WHO ARE WE ?
The Flying Pharaoh
The Flying Pharaoh is an Aviation Sports company that organizes air sports events. It has been established in Egypt to promote the spirit of aviation in the country's youth, as well as to promote the development of sport aviation throughout Egypt and the Middle East. The flying Pharaoh is engaged in general aviation, gliding, paragliding, airships, airplanes, drones, helicopters, amateur built aircraft, etc. Advent of new technologies, modern equipment and the arrival of new air sport disciplines have meant that the the flying Pharaoh’s sphere of involvement has broadened and continues to expand. New objectives are adopted to reflect developments in society and in the aspirations of those who practice air sports.
The Founder
Dr Yasser Menaissy
Dr Yasser Menaissy is a Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Cairo University. He has been a flight Instructor since 30 years and he has flying license from Egypt, UAE and USA. He has attended Airshows in the USA, Germany, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Kuwait. He Has participated with his single engine plane in Crete to Cape Rally in 2016 and has flown in all the 6 continents. RULES AND REGULATIONS
Fly In Egypt 2022 is affiliated to the FAI, Category 2 Event.
All the rules and regulations of the FAI Sporting Code will be applied.

Tasks:
- All the participating pilots will :
- Submit their expected time en route for each leg.
- Submit their expected fuel consumption for each leg.
- Do a spot landing at El Gouna Airport (HEGO).
